New licensing requirements in Westchester County mandate that all licensed master plumbers complete four (4) hours of continuing education each year, starting in 2025. As a benefit of membership, our members pay just $100 for their continuing education class. Westchester County Rule #13 reads: This rule shall be applicable to all Countywide Master Plumbers and Restricted Master Plumbers that are seeking to renew or shelve their license for 2026 and every year thereafter. All Countywide Master Plumbers and Restricted Master Plumbers, whether shelved or current, shall be required to complete four (4) hours of Continuing Education annually from an approved provider prior to submitting their application for renewal or shelving. No renewal or shelving application will be accepted unless the Board has been supplied with proof of satisfying the Continuing Education requirements.
